The extension only ever runs on two kinds of pages: Google Maps, where it draws the pins-and-stories layer, and a short list of camera-manufacturer sites — Fujifilm, Leica, Nikon, Canon, Sony, Ricoh, Panasonic, Olympus, OM System, and Hasselblad — where it can surface related stories from The Block. Outside those pages it does nothing: no reading, no tracking, no mining your browsing. It only ever talks to The Block's own servers.
